People have recently called Christmas parties as “Holiday Parties” maybe it’s because even non-christians are participating in the generosity of this season where people give gifts to their loved ones.

The pictures above are my mini-cakes. Cupcake sized pieces of cake that are covered with ganache and fondant icing. It’s individually wrapped making it the perfect Christmas giveaway or as a souvenir for your “holiday parties”.

You can make two cakes that are exactly the same but still each of them is special. I have made a few plants vs zombies cakes but each of them had a story and those stories make each of those 6 cakes unique. So what makes this cake special from the other plants vs zombies cake I have done?

This was my first cake to be transported via plane.  He said that he will be bringing it out of town so I made sure the characters were sturdy so that they will still all be upright after the trip.  I was thinking that he will just be transporting it to Baguio or someplace he can travel by land, but I was surprised when he said he will be taking the cake to Davao. This guy really loves his wife. Transporting a cake this size would be a great effort for the guy bringing it. I can’t imagine how difficult it would have been to bring this cake. But I guess all his effort were all worth it for the happiness of the woman he loves.

 

 

Ben 10 Cake – Heatblast and Fourarms

This is a cake I made for the son of my husband’s classmate in Aquinas School. His son Basti chose Heatblast and Fourarms as his cake toppers. Making Fourarms was a challenge because of his muscles but I think he came out well. But I loved making Heatblast because the character is so colorful. It helped make the cake more interesting.

Hello Kitty Cake

Here is a cake I enjoyed making since I grew up watching Hello Kitty. This is an all edible cake. I made this for a little girls first birthday. I love how cute Kitty looks in her dress and cardigan.

Doraemon Cake

Here is a cake that my husband likes, unfortunately it’s not for him. This cake was ordered for a child’s baptism celebration. My husband loves this Doraemon character because of the cool gadgets that he brings out of his pouch to help his friend , Nobita. Which the latter always tend to abuse and use other than its intended purpose. This show is somewhat educational because it tries to convey that there is no one step solutions to our own problems and that we have to get what we want by persevering and doing what’s right.
