Plants vs Zombies 9

My best selling cake is the Plants vs Zombies cake. It is now on its 9th version. So what’s new with this version?

Aside from the combination of the characters on this cake, there’s nothing new on this cake, BUT this time this cake comes with cupcakes and cookiepops. I was quite excited to make the cupcakes, since it’s my first time to make Plants vs Zombies cupcakes. I think the cupcakes are cute.The cupcake toppers are just smaller versions of my cake toppers.

Wild Party Cake

Most of the time I make cakes for kids which feature their favorite cartoon characters or games. For adults I make cakes featuring their hobbies. Now is my first time this kind of “adult” cake. Presenting my first kinky cake titled : Wild Party Cake

I had fun making this cake, since I had to bring out my sexy side =) and think of the poses for the cake toppers. To further accent the “WILD” theme of this cake, I designed the sides with animal prints.

Together with the cake, they also ordered “kinky” cupcakes.

Cake Toppers

I usually make around 4 cakes a week and I make the cake toppers a few days ahead of the cake. And most of the time the cakes have different themes and I think it’s funny how characters from different themes look when they are brought together.

Grandmother Cake

One of our fondest memories during our childhood is sure to involve a doting grandmother. They are the ones who spoil us and give us what our parents either doesn’t give us or won’t allow us to have. They won’t mind us overloading on chocolates and think that “sugar-rushes” are cute. Or as they say “Kids being Kids”. But eventually all of us grow old, and our grandmothers aren’t as strong as they used to be. They are now leading more relaxed lives. I think it’s our turn now to spoil them. Let’s pamper them and celebrate their well-lived lives.

This is an all edible (except for the rocking chair) cake made for the birthday of a 90 year old grandmother.

I dressed the cake topper to look elegant in a purple long dress with a rose detail near the collar. I also imprinted the fondant to further add to the elegant appeal of the cake. I also added pearls on the bottom of the cake.
