I named this design the English Garden Cake because of the fondant plaque where I wrote the name of the celebrant. The plaque and flowers remind me of an English Tea Party. This design would pass as a simple yet elegant wedding cake if not for the number 18 on the top which I made using metallic beads to add bling.

This cake was designed for an outdoor garden themed party. Her mom gave me the color palette and requested that the shape of her daughter’s cake is similar to another debut cake I made (Denims and Diamonds). So I made them a wonky cake and then made the base color lemon lime. I added green flowers on the base of the cakes and randomly added gold dragees to add texture. I also added “floating butterflies” to tie it to the outdoor theme. For the number 18 on top of the cake, I used gold beads similar to the gold dragees to balance the design.

I made this cake for a girl that started in modeling at a very young age. That’s why her dad wanted a cake that would reflect his daughter’s passion. They wanted a hot pink and black theme for the motif. So I designed the cake with silhouettes of models. Then for her cupcakes I used the same theme but this time it’s a silhouette of a model’s head shot. For the number 18 on top of the cake I used hot pink beads and put it on top of hot pink and black fondant ribbons.

Norie’s Kitchen – Debut Cake 3 in silver-purple-pink

This is a cake for Shane’s 18th Birthday. She showed me a cake design she liked but wanted me to change the color palette to purple, pink and silver. So I used lavender as the base for the cake and cupcakes. I added cascading pink flowers with silver dragees as stamens. The pink and silver flowers are also reflected on the cupcakes. I also used silver baking cups and a silver cupcake tower. To make this cake more elegant, I added hanging rhinestones on the tower. I also used rhinestones on the number 18 on top of the cake.
