Here is a cake I made for a Toy Story themed birthday party. The bottom layer is based on Buzz Lightyear’s armor while the top layer is based on Woody’s clothes. I put the name of the celebrant on the sheriff’s badge and also his age. On the bottom of the cake, I placed Woody and Buzz Lightyear. I also wrote on the bottom of their shoes the name of the birthday celebrant, “Marvin”

Rubber Duckies are cute. I think this was made famous by Ernie of Sesame Street. He even has a song for his rubber ducky.

This cake was ordered with mini-cakes which I also patterned with the design of the main cake.

I named this design the English Garden Cake because of the fondant plaque where I wrote the name of the celebrant. The plaque and flowers remind me of an English Tea Party. This design would pass as a simple yet elegant wedding cake if not for the number 18 on the top which I made using metallic beads to add bling.

Aside from the usual “mama” and “dada”, babies usually learn the sounds animals make. So I do understand the interest of babies in animals, that’s why I get to do a lot of cakes featuring animals (e.g. Noah’s Ark, Farm Themed, or Barnyard themed).
