Norie’s Kitchen – Plants vs Zombies 2: Beach Wave Cake

When I was just starting out making cakes, the popular game then was Plants vs Zombies. I think I made more than 20 versions of Plants vs Zombies cake. So it was refreshing when I was asked to make another PvZ cake. This time it’s based on the PvZ2: Beach Wave and the zombies looks like they’re having a 60’s beach party, with zombies that are surfing and female zombies with big hair. All of them look cute in their own ways except for thebeach version of the gargantuar which is still a scary thing.

Little Baby Bum Cake

Here is a cake based on the song “Twinkle twinkle little star” as interpreted by Little Baby Bum. Little Baby Bum is a Youtube channel showing animated versions of children’s songs.

Here’s my 2nd Peppa Pig Cake. I have been receiving a lot of inquiries about Peppa Pig these days, hope to make more cakes about her soon. =)

Norie’s Kitchen – MasterChef Cake 2

MasterChef is one of my favorite shows and I was really excited to make this cake. I made the cake to like a wooden chopping board. I covered the cake with white fondant and indented it with the wood grains then hand-painted it. Then I made gumpaste vegetables. The name of the celebrant is on the apron and the MasterChef logo too.

Norie’s Kitchen – Sakura Cake 2

 

This cake is inspired by the cherry blossom tree or Sakura in Japanese. To add elegance this cake I hand painted the trunks gold.
